Introducing our New
North Texas Performing Arts – Dallas Program Director
Bethany Bourland
Welcome Reception – Dallas AMP Awards – August 13
We could not be more pleased to announce the promotion of Bethany Bourland to lead our Dallas Theatre as its new Program Director.
Bethany has been a wildly successful Resident Director on the NTPA Team for almost three years. During that time she has led NTPA’s ACE Program and Page to Stage Touring Show and has directed some of the best performances to hit the NTPA Stages.
Before joining NTPA, Bethany received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama: Acting Emphasis from the University of Oklahoma Peggy Dow Helmerich School of Drama. Growing up in Katy, Texas, Bethany began her directing and teaching career with the Katy Visual and Performing Arts Center. In 2014 and 2015, Bethany interned with Dallas Theater Center in their summer theatre education program. From 2016 to 2018, Bethany worked in Oklahoma as a Casting Associate for film and television with Freihofer Casting. Favorite directing credits include: 13, Freaky Friday, Little Women, Thoroughly Modern Millie Jr, Legally Blonde Jr, The Wizard of Oz, and Little Mermaid Jr. Bethany would love to thank her husband, Connor, for his never-ending love and support.
Join us for two exciting upcoming events. Celebrate five years since the opening of NTPA – Dallas on Saturday, June 19 between performances of Peter Pan, part of the NTPA 30th Anniversary Celebration Series. Then plan to join us at Bethany’s “Welcome to Dallas” and the Dallas AMP Awards on August 13!
We look forward to Bethany’s work to build upon our success in Dallas and expand its impact across this region.
